Tommy Wasiuta was born and raised in Foristell, Missouri. He started dancing at the age of 3 at St. Peters Academy of Dance. At age 12, he began studying at Performing Arts Centre, where he continued on until his senior year at Francis Howell High School. There, he was fortunate enough to study under Tracy and Debbie Davenport, Anthony Russo, Amy Gammon, and Maria Majors. Performing Arts Centre helped Tommy find his love and passion for tap dance. He has made multiple appearances with The StepHounds, a blues/tap dance band based out of St. Charles, MO. As a member of the St. Louis Big Band, he can be found adding tap to the great music at the Casa Loma Ballroom. Tommy also loves traveling around the country to different tap intensives where he meets students and faculty that share his love for such a beautiful art form. While attending St. Charles Community College, he wishes to continue to gain knowledge and share his love for the dance everywhere he goes. Tommy is presently involved in MoSTLy Tap and created a non-profit tap group Buskers for Charity.
